CEGROBME Community Empowerment Iniatiative (Center for Grooming Boys to Real Men)

CEGROBME community empowerment initiative hereinafter referred to as Center for Grooming Boys to Real Men was founded in 2023 by a group of like-minded members who saw the need to uplift the standards of boys to become men of substance and match the standards of girls currently empowered by families, community, organizations and the government. This stretched from the view that most initiatives in Uganda as a whole and Masaka city in particular target the girl child while the boy child is left out with no support and have thus resorted to drug abuse, they are into the streets yet they have to marry the empowered girls. This has resulted into increased cases of domestic violence, divorce, increased number of irresponsible men, drug and substance abuse, rape and defilement in adulthood.
